Monster Loose on TAMIU Campus

For the second year, a monster will be on the Texas A&M International University campus.

"The Ultimate Road Trip: Campus 2 Career," a free success presentation for first year students, will be offered free of charge Tuesday, August 24 at TAMIU from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 116.

Lisa Flores, director of student activities, said the program is sponsored by Monster.com, a career search internet site, and will emphasize the importance of academics, time management, setting goals and maximizing opportunities.

"This program will be part of our new student orientation and will provide students with a roadmap of success to be used at TAMIU and after graduation," said Flores.
