Students get ‘Welcome Week’ at TAMIU for Fall

It's an all-stops-out welcome for Texas A&M International University, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 22 as “Welcome Week” gets underway.

For first year students, TAMIU offers its yearly Welcome Week to help new students’ transition to University life. Starting things off is the Transfer Students Orientation.

The International Students Orientation and Freshmen Orientation and Convocation are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23.

The Freshmen Convocation continues through Friday, Aug. 24.

A faculty and staff assembly is also scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24.

Registration for Fall 2007 is underway at uonline.tamiu.edu

Classes start Monday, Aug. 27.
