TAMIU Soccer Gets Preseason Ranking

Texas A&M International University is ranked 24th in the 2005 NAIA Men’s Soccer Preseason rankings, which were released this week.

TAMIU finished 14-5-1 last season, advancing to the championship game of the NAIA Region VI Tournament.

The Dustdevils are two-time defending Red River Athletic Conference Tournament champions.

The regular season opens with a home game on Friday, Sept. 2 against Oklahoma Baptist. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

TAMIU will scrimmage the Alamo City Under-18 squad this Saturday at 3 p.m. at Dustdevil Soccer Field. There will be no admission charged for the scrimmage and the public is invited to attend.
