TAMIU Scholarship Partners

Members of the Laredo Asian Association (LAA)  presented proceeds from last year’s Asian Night to Texas A&M International University for student scholarships. Left to right are LAA board member Toni Vela, TAMIU vice president for institutional advancement Candy Hein, TAMIU president Dr. Ray Keck, LAA president Liling Huang and LAA board members Mark Kung and Gina Mejia. In addition to their generous scholarship gift, the LAA is aggressively pursuing funding for the future construction of a traditional Asian garden on the TAMIU campus.
