TAMIU Juried Student
Exhibit, Reception Dec. 1

Make plans to visit the Texas A&M International University Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Gallery for a look at the TAMIU Juried Student Exhibition 2011, showcasing drawings, paintings, photos, prints, ceramics, sculpture, and new media created by current TAMIU students.

There will be an opening reception Thursday, Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Gallery lobby.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The reception is an opportunity to meet with the artists, speak with them directly about their work, support Laredo's art community, and pick up some Christmas gifts.  All art sales directly benefit the student, and student scholarships.  

The show is being juried by former TAMIU professor and renowned Texas artist Janet Kruger. The work will be on display from Wednesday, Nov. 30 until Friday, Dec. 10 at the TAMIU Art Gallery in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts.

The Gallery is open Monday – Thursday, 9 – 5 p.m. and by appointment.
