High school students have the opportunity to meet with college representatives from Texas and beyond at “Laredo College Night” Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. in the Texas A&M International University Student Center Ballroom.
Admission is free and open to the public. High school juniors and seniors are strongly encouraged to attend.
Students who do attend are encouraged to have copies of their high school transcripts handy and ask lots of questions.
Representatives from universities will be available to answer questions about admissions, programs, degrees, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
“College Night” participants will have an opportunity to plan their future or win a scholarship and other door prizes.
Among the universities and colleges represented are: Abilene Christian University, ACT SWR Educational Services, Cisco College, Laredo Community College, Our Lady of the Lake University, Sam Houston State University, Schreiner University, Southwestern Assemblies of God University, St. Edward’s University, St. Mary’s University and Sul Ross University.
Also sending representatives: Tarleton State University, Texas A&M at Galveston, Texas A&M International University, Texas A&M Kingsville, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, Texas Lutheran University, Texas State Technical College Harlingen, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, Texas Wesleyan University, University of Texas at Austin, Tufts University.
