TAMIU Book Store Celebrates
Student Appreciation Day Nov. 7

Formerly called “Spirit Day,” Texas A&M International University’s third annual Student Appreciation Day will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 7 with the TAMIU Bookstore providing TAMIU students a 15% discount on all TAMIU apparel.

“We are very appreciative of all our students, and would like to do something special for them,” stated Socorro Calderón, store manager.

To receive the 15% discount, a TAMIU student only needs to present their current student ID at the bookstore Nov. 7. The 15% discount will also be honored on any TAMIU apparel discounted for clearance. 


Three door prizes will also be given out, but what the door prizes are remains a surprise. To enter for door prizes, a student only has to write their name, phone number and email address on a form available at the Bookstore.

Bookstore hours are from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Friday.
