TAMIU-SBDC to host Women’s
Business Conference April 25

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) in conjunction with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Laredo Community College will sponsor a free of charge conference, the Women’s Business Conference.

The Women’s Business Conference will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Monte Carlo Reception Hall, 6102 McPherson Road.

Stop by and learn about contracting certifications available to small businesses through the U.S. Small Business Administration; SBA’s 8(M) Women-Owned Small Business and the SBA’s loan programs. Expand your global potential and find new markets and opportunities for women in international trade from the UTSA SBDC International Trade Center. Participants will also learn about opportunities for entrepreneurs at LCC. The Conference is free and open to the public.  Interested persons must RSVP.
