Yoga Class Offered at TAMIU

Looking for a way to relax and be centered at the end of a hectic day? Wanting to add to your fitness program and build your core strength and flexibility? Interested in getting to understand your body and its remarkable abilities?

Consider enrolling for a Texas A&M International University Yoga Class lead by Dr. Jyotsna Mukerhji as part of TAMIU’s Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Program.  The class is open to the community, designed for ages teen to adult and is offered at a gentle pace.  Curious?   Come to our first class and see what you’re missing!

Dr. Mukherji, TAMIU associate professor of Marketing, has been a yoga practitioner all her life.

The class will meet twice weekly, every Tuesday (7:30 p.m.) and Thursday (7 p.m.) beginning Tuesday January 15 from 7 - 8 p.m. in Studio 123 of the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. Cost is $40/month  for one class a week and $50/month for two classes a week.

Please dress in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring a yoga mat.

For more on the yoga class, contact Dr. Mukherji at jyo@tamiu.edu.
