The formal dedication for Anthony J. and Georgia A. Pellegrino Hall at Texas A&M International University was held February 1997. The Pellegrinos built their transportation firm from a public telephone booth in Laredo to a corporation with terminals across the U.S. in 10 major hubs. The Pellegrinos believe their success has come from the hard work, loyalty and support of the community that launched their business—Laredo. By providing this facility they hope Laredoans of all ages will embrace higher education as the most powerful force in bettering our community. It is home to the majority of the College of Business Administration faculty.
