What Does That Mean to Me?
For Hispanic students, and all students, attending a school that is welcoming of their ethnicity and culture can be critical criteria – for both online and onsite students. It’s about finding a home away from home. As an international campus, TAMIU is home to students from over 40 countries every semester.
How Did They Figure This Out?
The site used two criteria, universities with 50% student retention rates, and those with 50% student graduation rates, and compared them against the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities’ (HACU) list of 269 Member Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs)…all in order to reveal the best schools for Hispanic students.
How Can Online Students Succeed?
Online students, like onsite students, must make a commitment to their course requirements, demonstrate strong time management skills, and utilize resources available to them to help them perform better.
