Academic Program Successes Nursing and Health Sciences v BSN program reaccredited by ACEN (National Accrediting Agency for Nursing) for eight-years. v BSN students passed the NCLEX at 92% and MSN/FNP at 100%. v Methodist Healthcare Ministries (MHM) awarded continuing funding for grant “Building Capacity on the Border” in the amount of $466,000. The grant funds six faculty positions. Education v Faculty in COED have been awarded over $200,000 in extramural support. v Launched a new book series: International Education Inquiries. v Hosted the World Assembly for Teacher Education v Will host the TAMUS Chancellor’s Summit on Teacher Education. v Working with Mexican Consulate to offer educational counseling at the Outlet Mall and the Consulate.
