Abs & Back: Your midsection muscles are power sources of your body, let these 20-minutes of great ab/back strengthening workouts give you a core like never before!
Boot Camp: An intense two week workout combining strength conditioning, resistance training, and cardiovascular training. This teamwork environment provides a motivational push that should challenge one's Spirit. Led by TAMIU's Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Aaron Garza.
Cardio Magic: A dancing and toning workout designed to burn fat and beat stress! You won't want to miss this!
Chinese Kickboxing: Whether you seek to lose weight, get toned, or just get a good workout, this kick-butt kickboxing class is for you! Proper technique and discipline taught. Instructed by Martial Arts Competitor and Red-Belt rank holder Raul Ramos.
Core Buster: This new and exciting class combines two already fun classes Jump Rope Jam and Abs & Back in order to provide a core building cardio experience.
Fitness Nutrition: Get started with a Nutritionist to learn about healthy eating & losing weight! Get meals plans, workout routines, a workout buddy and measure and track your progress to reach your fitness & nutrition goals! Gymbooe Xtreme: A mixed bag of Chiti's top body sculpting drills to develop strength, burn fat, tone & shape your entire body. Kick-It-Up-A-Notch: Come and have fun learning the basics of fighting while at the same time challenging your body & developing your mind. Anyone can do it!

Step Express: Come step your way into fitness with 50 minutes of straight, fat-burning cardiovascular workout!
TBC (Total Body Conditioning): A mix of cardio and toning exercises set up to improve all areas of fitness!

An exciting, Latin inspired, dance 'n tone program. This is the original dance-fitness class taken to the next level. Zumba Toning is an innovative muscle training program with the addition of light weights. Created to emphasize muscles work along with rhythms, this combination of cardio and dynamic resistive exercises is an effective us of progressive light weight training to improve overall performance. Specialty Classes
The Zumba "pool party!" The Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula with traditional aqua fitness discipline, the Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe challenging, water-based workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. Dominican Style: The original Bachata style comes from the Dominican Republic where the music also was born. It is danced widely all over the world but not identically. Join us with or without a dance partner, no experience required. Learn new moves you didn't even know you had!
Belly Dancing: An Arabian Abs and Back workout, technique learning and a lot of fun! Come and feel comfortable in your body!
Salsa: Come and nail all the basic Salsa moves! Join us with or without a partner. For all level of dancers. Be the life of the party!
FIT (Fitness Instructor Training)
Love fitness? Want to lead others to love it too? Come join us to begin the process of becoming a Fitness Instructor! Learn the proper ways to workout, the technique and how to instruct. Fee is $20. Class is ongoing throughout each semester. After completing sessions and auditioning you may have the opportunity to be a paid Fitness Instructor. tPT (training Personal Trainers)
So you think you can train? Come learn how to become a Personal Trainer and use it for life! Class is ongoing throughout each semester. Get the info. Learn the techniques. Get Certified. Aerobics Etiquette
Prior Injuries or Special Considerations
If you have any special considerations or prior injuries, please inform your instructor before class. This will better assist us in providing proper attention or modifications.The Warm-Up
For your safety and fitness benefit, it is important that you attend the warm-up at the beginning of each class. If you miss this portion of the class, we will expect you have had a proper warm-up and ask that you please enter quietly and considerately.The Cool-Down
If you absolutely must leave class early, please know that for your own protection, your heart rate should come down gradually. Also make sure you stretch all major muscle groups as this is an essential part of your fitness and helps to reduce the risk of injuries.Intensity
Most of our classes are taught to accommodate most skill levels during a class unless otherwise noted. Intensity and quantity of a given class is determined by each individual. You can vary each class intensity by changing the size of weight you use and by doing the modifications your instructor may provide.
