3.2.3 The board has a policy addressing conflict of interest. JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE Compliance. NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE The Board of the Texas A&M University System has a policy addressing conflict of interest and is bound by the Texas Government Code, Chapter 572, Personal Financial Disclosure, Standards of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest, Subchapter A, General Provisions, which prohibits regents from having any contractual, employment, or other personal or familial financial interest in the institution which would cause a conflict between the board member's private interest and the public interest.
