NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE
The institution has a clearly defined and published organizational structure that delineates responsibility for the administration of policies. The Texas A&M University System Policy 02.05: Presidents of Component Universities requires the President of the University to “recommend an organizational structure necessary to implement the purpose and mission of the institution and recommend the establishment of administrative offices appropriate thereto.” The current organizational chart for Texas A&M International University is maintained in the Office of Human Resources. The current Texas A&M International University Organizational Structure is available online.
Procedures delegating authority and defining University administrative structures are established in the President’s Delegation of Authority for Contract Administration and the Approval Channels for Employment. The Position Description Questionnaires for the appropriate positions indicate the responsibilities for the administration of University policies, as applicable.
