NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE The University publishes a clear and appropriate statement of student rights and responsibilities and disseminates the statement to the campus community. The University posts a comprehensive set of rules and regulations that govern students’ rights and responsibilities in the Student Handbook. The student handbook delineates students’ rights and responsibilities under the major headings of: Student Rights and Responsibilities, University Regulations, the Student Code of Conduct, and Student Conduct Disciplinary Procedures.The Student Handbook is posted on the University web site for quick and easy access to students, faculty, staff and the general public. Copies may be printed directly from the University web site or are available through the Office of Student Life. The Student Handbook is reviewed periodically by the Office of Student Life. The review process includes issues raised by students, faculty or staff, emerging national issues identified by the Association for Student Judicial Affairs as well as changes within the University. The Student Handbook is consistent with the guidelines set forth by the American Association of University Professors; Policy Documents & Reports; ninth edition.
