The University publishes the name of its primary accreditor and its address and phone number.The University Catalog contains the name of its primary accreditor along with contact information and the statement is presented so that inquiries should relate only to the accreditation status of the institution.
The Catalog 2004-2005, Accreditation and Membership in Educational Associations reads as follows:
Texas A&M International University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges and Schools of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; Telephone number (404)679-4501) to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
