Upcoming Service Projects
November 5 (Saturday)
Event: Bike Rodeo
Time: 9 AM - 5 PM
Place: near TAMIU Soccer Fields
Tasks: assist with the kids who will participate at the event, pass out food and other small tasks
Novovember 10 (Thursday)
Event: Texas Recycle Day Fair
Time: 9 AM - 1:30 PM; 4 PM - 8 PM
Place: City of Laredo Solid Wastes Services Picnic Area 6912 HWY 359
Tasks: Morning Shift - help with tours, distributing food and materials given to students, help with activities
Afternoon Shift: help the organizations who have booths, distribute food and help with activities
November 17 (Thursday)
Event: Annual March Against Hunger and Homelessness
Time: 11 AM
Place: Bethany House
November 20 (Sunday)
Event: Feast of Sharing
Time: 11 AM - 3 PM
Place: Laredo Civic Center 2400 San Bernando Ave.
Tasks: volunteers will help in passing out drinks, food, preparing the plates, and cleaning up the eating areas
(those who wish to volunteer
for this event need to come to our office to sign a volunteer sheet we
have at the office by November 4)
November 25 - 26 (Friday & Saturday)
Event: Border Olympics High School Basketball Tournament
