Registration Directions for Graduate and Undergraduate Students

Here you may check your registration status, check and update your mailing and email address, and print out a degree audit.
Check the semester course schedule and draft a possible schedule.
If you have holds, visit the offices indicated on the hold to get it waived or cleared for the semester of registration. All holds must be cleared
before registering using UOnline.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all classes for which you have registered are applicable to your degree plan.
Check your Degree Audit on the university catalog or with your advisor to ensure applicability of courses for which you have registered.
Financial Aid may not pay for courses that are not applicable to your degree plan (including repeated courses)
Print out your new schedule and your tuition and fees bill.
You may add courses via UOnline until the posted deadline in the academic calendar. After the first class day, all drops must be processed
through your department or the Office of the Registrar.
For on-site registration, contact the Department Staff Assistant of your major to schedule an appointment with your advisor for advising and
schedule approval.
Pay tuition and fees
Students are not officially registered for classes until payment or arrangement for payment has been made with the Business Office.
Payments are made by cash, check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Credit card payments are subject to verification
with the BankCard Center. Students may use the credit card payment option through
UOnline
Emergency loans are available through the Office of FinancialAid on a first-come-first-serve basis as funds are available. Students must register
for classes before the emergency loan can be processed. A processing fee will be added to each loan at the time of application.
For information on Installment Payment Plan, students will need to visit with the Business Office
University ID
All new TAMIU students may request to have their identification card (TAMIU One-Card) made at the One Card Center located in the Student Center,
Room 128. A fee will be assessed for the ID card and for each replacement.
Books
Books may be purchased at the University Bookstore located in the Student Center.
Parking permits
All cars on campus must be registered with the Campus Police Office, located in the basement of the Killam Library Building.
Parking permits can be purchased in the Business Office or with the credit card payment option, using UOnline on the web.
