Division of International Business & Technology Studies
Welcome to the Web site for the Division of International Business and Technology Studies !
Our Division’s main goal is to prepare students for leadership positions within the fields of management, international business, management
information systems, and decision science. Through our programs, undergraduate and graduate students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to
spur managerial and technological innovations in organizations, with the goal of improving productivity and quality. We place particular emphasis on
forming graduates that will look at organizational problems and opportunities from an international business perspective.
We offer six major academic programs, and several concentration/minor academic programs. The six major academic programs offered by our Division are
the: Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Administration (BBA-BA), Bachelor of Business Administration with a
concentration in Management (BBA-MAN), Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems (BBA-MIS), Master of
Business Administration (MBA) – taught in English and Spanish, and Master of Science in Information Systems (MS-IS).
Our Division plays a key role in the Ph.D. Program in International Business Administration, where we offer the concentrations in Management and
Management Information Systems. We offer the Business Track of the Systems Engineering Program, in cooperation with the College of Arts and Sciences.
We also offer the minors program in: Business Administration, Management, and Management Information Systems. These minor programs are offered to any
undergraduate students majoring in programs outside the A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business.
