The Office of Student Activities promotes and encourages experiences and
opportunities that will allow students the ability to mature and create
a positive atmosphere as they excel in their future within themselves,
the University and the community at large. Students will develop a community
of citizens through the promotion of personal and social responsibility,
student success and academic completion.
Goals
The Office of Student Activities will promote and produce events and activities
that include a variety of cultural beliefs.
Use a professional staff that will strive
to educate and develop career skills.
Create an orientation program that
involves academic, social, and personal anchoring to enable students to
achieve their goals and be successful.
Better communicate the purpose
and philosophy of the Office of Student Activities.
Development of student
organizations continuity, involvement in programming, leadership skills,
representation in the university, and acceptance and understanding of
each other.
