Pre-Departure Orienation is a mandatory event that each student must attend prior to their study abroad program.  It consists out of two separate sessions: a workshop on Travel, Documents and Tips, and a second workshop on Culture, Health and Safety.  Orientation assists you in establishing realistic expectations of your study abroad experiences and know more about your responsibilities as a TAMIU student on a study abroad program. Students will be notified via email of upcoming orientation sessions.

Items to submit during orientation:

• Copy of passport
• Copy of travel itinerary
• Liability and waiver forms
• Copy of insurance
