Parent and Family Orientation

Welcome to TAMIU Dustdevil Family!

Over the next four years, you and your student will experience a journey unlike any other. As your Dustdevil begins their studies at TAMIU, we understand it will be a significant change for you and your family. The Office of Student Affairs is committed to helping your student succeed and we want to collaborate with you to ensure a smooth transition and successful college experience.

Parent and Family Orientation is a program designed with you in mind and provides you the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and fellow Dustdevil family members so that you can learn how to best assist your student, while experiencing TAMIU traditions.

Parent and Family Orientation runs simultaneous to the first day of New Student Orientation: Dusty Camp and we strongly urge parents to attend the session their student has signed up for.
