First Year Success Program
Making a smooth
transition into University life is an important step toward achieving success. Texas
A&M International University's First Year Success Program helps students get started on the right path through the
first year experience.
The
program promotes student success by coordinating an array of services that are responsive to our students' needs. A student mentor is assigned to each incoming student and will meet individually with the student for the first year. These biweekly meetings will cover a variety of topics, and will also allow the new students a resource for any questions they may have.
The
First Year Success Program helps develop people networks that
communicate first year student needs to the University community.
The office is located in room 208 on the second floor of Dr. Billy F. Cowart Hall.
The
program goals are student success and satisfaction at A&M
International.
