Tutoring Services

TRiO SSS offers free tutoring to all SSS Program participants. One-on-one and group tutoring sessions are scheduled according to the individual needs of the students. Quality tutoring is available in a variety of subjects including developmental math, writing, reading and most of the college level courses. Tutoring can be an important key to establishing basic study skills and surviving challenging courses. Many SSS graduates credit the tutoring program for their academic success. The TRiO SSS Tutors are selected based on their academic background and an application process that includes an interview with the TRiO Student Support Services' staff.
