Bacterial Meningitis Information for On-Campus Residents

The State of Texas has passed a law regarding Meningitis immunizations. The law states that new students living in university housing will be required to be vaccinated against Meningitis.

The vaccination must take place no less than 10 days before the student moves into university housing facilities.  For the Spring Semester 2010 students must be vacinated no later than January 4, 2010 to
move-in to residences on January 15.  The City of Laredo Health Department is offering the immunization shots for $4.00, please contact the City of Laredo Health Department for additional information regarding their immunization program.

All students must return the Immunization Record Form to Student Health Services (Student Center 125) on or before January 11, 2010.
