"TAMIU not only prepared me for the challenges that I would face as a student but as a professional and provided me with a network of support and example to follow.  It was within the TAMIU community that I built long-term relationships that I still have today...It was because of the vision of great leaders and their humility to serve the community at TAMIU that I was influenced to do the same throughout my career which laid a foundation for me.  Today, as a Chic-fil-A Owner/Operator, I am able to serve the community of Eagle Pass and I am forever grateful to the TAMIU family for demonstrating the core values that I now represent."
