De León reiterated, “These are hard times for us students, faculty, and all our TAMIU family.Wemust keep inmind that although it is a big transition, we must not lose hope.” While the COVID-19 Pandemic brought dramatic changes to the way students and faculty completed the Spring 2020 semester, the efforts made by TAMIU faculty members should not go unacknowl- edged, explained de León. “We have great professors at TAMIU who make all the effort so that students can learn and continue to feel safe,” said de León.
