Phil Adams

 Phil Adams of Bryan/College Station received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1971.  Upon graduation, Mr. Adams began his career in the insurance business.

 Phil Adams Company provides insurance products and services to corporations and individuals throughout
Texas.  Adams has attained membership in the Million Dollar Round Table, Top of the Table and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.

Mr. Adams has served on the boards of many civic organizations including boards of directors of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce, Texas A&M/BCS Council, the Chancellor’s Century Council,
Brazos County United Way and the Central Texas Association of Life Underwriters.  Mr. Adams has served as president of the Brazos Valley Estate Council, chairman of the Brazos County Republican Party and vice-chairman of the Texas Public Policy Foundation.  He continues to serve on the Texas Public Policy Foundation board, the Texas A&M University Mays Business School Development Council and as a director of First American Bank.

Mr. Adams was appointed to the Board of Regents by Governor Rick Perry in 2001.  He serves as chair of the Committee on Finance and as a member of the Committee on Buildings and Physical Plant.  Mr. Adams is a member of the Presidential Library Committee, the Public Policy and Planning Committee, the Committee on Health Affairs and the Health Science Center Review Committee.  He is the Board’s liaison to the Texas A&M Research Foundation, the 12th Man Foundation and is on the Executive Committee of the
Panhandle Plains Historical Museum.  His term expires February 1, 2007.
