ARSSB Internship Partner Program


Alterri Distribution Center

Student will assist in the development of a market research with the objective of developing and/or enhancing our client base; student will be exposed to and will be trained in development his/her communication and negotiation skills; student will have the opportunity of establishing a client base enhancing his/her communication and networking skills; student will learn the areas of business development (in particularly business strategy).

Vasquez & Chavez, PC

An intern in the firm is expected to perform the following activities: computerized accounting activities; reconcile and prepare employment forms (1099s, 1096s, W2, W3, 941, 940); assist in the preparation of payroll checks, reports, and payments; assist in the preparation of diverse state taxes and payments; prepare information for individual and business tax returns; and assist in the preparation of individual tax returns.

H-E-B Store Operations Internship Program

The H-E-B Store Operations Internship Program is designed to prepare high talented and self-motivated individuals for future careers with H-E-B. The program is a 10-week summer internship that offers college students the opportunity to combine work experience and professional development with formal education. This program offers you an opportunity to work in an environment whre you can learn, investigate career choices, and apply your education.

The following are some of the many opportunities available within and outside Laredo, TX.  These internship opportunities are considered external, meaning they have not been approved by the A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business Internship Program to be used for credit.  If the student obtains an opportunity with any organization listed below, he/she may bring it for approval. 

Approval will be granted as long as the student and the internship position meets the requirements set forth by the A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business Internship Program.
