Panel Discussion with Women Leaders
in Education, International Business, Law, and Healthcare
The Office of Global Initiatives/Binational Center is hosting a special event on International Women's Day on Wednesday, March 8. We will be recognizing four outstanding professional women in the areas of Education, International Business, Law, and Healthcare. They will lead a discussion about the obstacles and victories they faced in their career paths.
This year's honorees are:
Dr. Minita Ramírez, Laredo College President
Mrs. Yolanda Malagón, Former President of Asociación de Agentes Aduanales de Nuevo Laredo (AAANLD)
Attorney Adriana Piñón, Legal Director American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Texas
Dr. Grace Snyder, Transplant Nephrologist
Join us on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Western Hemispheric Trade Center (WHT) 111 to learn about their inspiring stories as we celebrate International Women's Day! This event is free and open to the public.
Registration and Check-in starts at 10 a.m. the day of the event.
