The Office of Career Services organizes several fairs throughout the academic school year for students, alumni, and the surrounding community.
The Government & Social Services Job Fair, held in Fall 2017 on Thursday, October 26, 2017, in the Student Center Ballroom from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested working in government (local, county, state and federal), law enforcement and Social Services Sectors.
The Graduate & Professional School Fair, held in Fall 2017 on Friday, November 3, 2017, in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., facilitate contact between students and graduate/professional Schools.
The Experiential Learning Internship Orientation, held in the Fall 2017 on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Student Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., for students who are involved or interested in Internships, Clinical's, Teaching Levels, Shadowing, Volunteer, Study Abroad, Services Learning and Under Graduate/Graduate Research.
The Global Opportunities In Education, held in Fall 2017 on Monday, November 27, 2017, in the Student Center Ballroom from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested working in teaching, administration and support staff. Positions in the education sector. This fair provides national & international opportunities.
The Career Expo (Business, Hospitality & Technology), held in Spring 2018 in the Student Center Ballroom from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested working in the business, financial and /hospitality sectors.
The STEM Professional Development and Internship Fair, held in Spring 2018 in the Student Center Rotunda from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics sectors.

Recruiters may have the opportunity to present to classes with topics ranging from careers and internship opportunities to interviewing techniques and business etiquette. Contact our office for more info.
Throughout the semester, these group sessions aid students in learning the skills of writing cover letters and résumés, and preparation for an interview. Special topics and other career-related issues are presented regularly to student groups, classes, or upon special request.
