1SPAN 2311 is an intermediate Spanish course for non-native speakers of Spanish. Students who do not qualify for SPAN 2311 may be required to take lower-level course work in Spanish before admission to SPAN 2311.
2Three hours from a survey of Spanish literature, SPAN 2321 or 2322, and three hours from a survey of Spanish American literature, 2323 or 2326, are required for the degree. SPAN 2320 is a prerequisite or co-requisite for all of these courses.
3The following Spanish courses are required: SPAN 3303, 3317, 4303 and 4310, may be taken in any sequence.
4Six hours from one Romance language other than Spanish are required for the degree. Select from French, Latin, or Portuguese.
5Select Arts and Humanities electives from any of the departments within the College of Arts and Humanities.
 
Actual degree plans may vary depending on availability of courses in a given semester.
Some courses may require prerequisites not listed.
