| 1SPAN 2311 is an intermediate Spanish course for non-native speakers of Spanish. Students who do not qualify for SPAN 2311 may be required to take lower-level course work in Spanish before admission to SPAN 2311. | ||||||||
| 2Three hours from a survey of Spanish literature, SPAN 2321 or 2322, and three hours from a survey of Spanish American literature, 2323 or 2326, are required for the degree. SPAN 2320 is a prerequisite or co-requisite for all of these courses. | ||||||||
| 3The following Spanish courses are required: SPAN 3303, 3317, 4303 and 4310, may be taken in any sequence. | ||||||||
| 4Six hours from one Romance language other than Spanish are required for the degree. Select from French, Latin, or Portuguese. | ||||||||
| 5Select Arts and Humanities electives from any of the departments within the College of Arts and Humanities. | ||||||||
