Conducted in Spanish. Survey of the geography, history, literature, art, and music of the Spanish American countries.  Emphasis on reading and vocabulary development. Also basic grammar, oral expression and written composition.  Prerequisite or corequisite:  SPAN 2320 or equivalent course.  May not replace SPAN 2321, SPAN 2322, SPAN 2323 or SPAN 2326 as prerequisites for 3000- and 4000- level courses.
