Dual
Language Methods for ECE Bilingual Instruction

| Three semester hours |
| This course provides an overview of transitional and maintenance bilingual programs and the current legislation regarding dual language development. Pedagogical trends, approaches, strategies and techniques for the maintenance of a first language and acquisition of English as a second language in early childhood through fourth grade are emphasized. Prerequisites: Admission to the College of Education and oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish. |
