Models and Processes of Reading

Three semester hours |

| The
following processes of reading are explored: language, visual perception,
word recognition, comprehension, metacognition, and culture. Additional
attention is given to developmental interactive, inferential, transactional-psycholinguistic,
and affective models of reading. Prerequisite: Graduate standing. |
