| Three semester hours (FL/SP/SS) |
| A survey of special education with an emphasis on federal and state legislation and litigation as well as mild, moderate, severe, and profound levels in all federally identified areas of disability. Includes observation of individuals with handicapping conditions in varying settings. Prerequisite: Admission to the College of Education. |
