| An
examination of the major themes in U.S. history from 1815-1865, including
the Market Revolution, the expansion of Jacksonian Democracy, the
rise of the Old South, antebellum reform movements, westward expansion,
and the rising tensions leading to the Civil War. This course
will also include a detailed study of the Civil War itself, with consideration
for its military, political, social, economic, and cultural impact
of the United States. |
