Theoretical Foundations for Nursing

| Three semester hours |
| The focus of this course is on exploration of theoretical concepts, factors, and issues influencing the development of theory in nursing. Emphasis is on the analysis of existing theories from nursing and related fields, theory construction, and concept formulation. Linkages applied between theory, nursing practice, and research are explored to guide evidence-based advanced nursing practice. |
