Diagnosis and Disease Management |
| Three semester hours |
| This course offers theoretical and clinical content for the management of health and health problems for adult clients. The focus is on the integration and application of skills and knowledge gained in advanced health assessment, advanced pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics in the acute and chronic setting. Students will identify pattern recognition, critical thinking, analysis, diagnosis and treatment of common health problems. Student progress will be evaluated through examinations, papers, class participation, seminars and clinical practice. |
