CNS I Concepts and Practicum I |

| This
course builds on concepts and skills derived from prerequisite courses.
This course is designed to develop theoretical and clinical competencies
of the clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in the care of chronic disorders
in diverse populations in a variety of settings. Emphasis is on evidence-based
research and theory in the management of disorders of selected body
systems. Student progress is evaluated through examinations, papers,
class participation, student directed conferences/seminars and clinical
practice. |
