Biological Psychology
 
Three semester hours
 
Examines the biological basis of behavior. Familiarizes students with the biological mechanisms relevant to key issues in psychology, such as learning and memory, sexual behavior, biological rhythms, emotion and stress, lateralization and language, sensation/perception, sensorimotor systems, abnormal behavior, and neural development and plasticity. Prerequisites: PSYC 2310, or consent of instructor.
