Welcome on the website of the Center for Earth and Environmental Studies.
The Center is part of Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
The Center has a network of weather stations and a radar system to monitor precipitation variability in the region.
This information will allow us to better address the availability of water resources in the region.
In addition, one of the major missions of the center is to serve as a clearinghouse for drought and environmental issues in this region.
