Non – thesis: 60 Semester Credit Hours
The Master of Science in School Counseling combines counseling theory and technique courses with practicum and field-based internship experiences. Additionally, students are eligible for school counselor certification and licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• GPA of 3.0 (last 60 credit hours)
• Personal Statement: Typed, minimum 700-word personal statement that briefly describes your career goals, aspirations, and timetable for completion of your proposed graduate studies.
• Three letters of recommendation (one personal, one professional and one nomination)
