The Office of Housing & Residence Life has two great options for you:
Residential Learning Community (RLC):
The traditional freshman residence hall experience. A great place to establish study partners and enduring friendships. This is the facility where most students begin their college experience. The RLC is comprised of 4 residence halls that are designed to help you transition to the college environment. The RLC's focus is on small groups in an effort to help students make the campus connections that lead to success! All RLC residents have a meal plan, a resident assistant (RA) peer mentor assigned to a specific area, public and private study areas, a large well-equipped computer lab, 4 community kitchens and an inviting laundry facility. These standards are accompanied by other resort-style amenities: swimming pool, sand volleyball, full-court basketball, billiards room and social lounges.
University Village (UV):
It is apartment style living right on campus! Independence, growth and responsibility are the focus of UV. University Village is designed for sophomores and above who have made their initial campus connections. Here students enjoy the privacy of their own bedroom, a full kitchen, and all the amenities of home. If you have a small/young family UV is the place for you too! Living at UV will open your horizons to independent living with a great safety net of resident assistants, educational and social programming events and the convenience of campus life. Imagine all this and the numerous amenities in our villa inspired setting.
