Hours Changing to Meet Needs

To better address student needs, Texas A&M International University offices that serve admission, recruitment, financial aid and registrar’s functions will be changing office hours.

Dr. Minita Ramírez, associate vice president for Student Success, said the change is reflective of the University’s growth.

“Our growth has been dynamic and our service to our students must mirror this. We’ve evaluated peak service hours and needs and believe our revised service schedule more effectively matches our student’s needs”, Dr. Ramirez explained.

Effective Nov. 1, 2008, service hours for the offices of Admission, Financial Aid, Recruitment and Registrar’s will be:

Monday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The service hour change only applies to the above offices.

“We will continue to monitor our student’s needs and service preferences and adjust as necessary, we are committed to our students’ success,” Ramirez concluded.
