TAMIU-SBDC Offers Three-Part
Web Site Series Starting Nov. 14

The Texas A&M International University Small Business Development Center (TAMIU-SBDC) will present a series of three workshops on how to create a website, beginning Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

The hands-on workshops will be held at the TAMIU Anthony J. and Georgia A. Pellegrino Hall, room 211. Fee is $20 for each session.

Web pages aren't just for geeks anymore. Today’s business often incorporates a Web presence or Web commerce ability. But what if one doesn’t know HTML from H2O? Or a browser from Bowser?

This hands-on workshop series spans the entire process of building a simple website from the ground up, with plenty of pointers and reference material.

Alejandro Quetzeri, who has 10 years of experience in building Web sites and is owner of WSI Certified Internet Consultants, will lead the series described below:
