Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business Online MBA in International Banking and Finance is ranked #19 among the Top 30 Online Masters Programs in Finance in the nation by online source Online College Plan.

The full ranking can be found at: https://www.onlinecollegeplan.com/rankings/online-masters-finance-degrees/

“Finance is a very exciting field for those that love numbers,” the site states, “It’s also a very rapidly expanding industry that has a lot to offer careerwise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth for finance managers comes in around 20 percent. That’s almost three times faster than the national average.”

To create its ranking of top online master’s degrees in finance programs, Online College Plan collected a list of schools that met a few initial ranking criteria.

Each school had to offer at least one distance-based Master’s program in Finance, either in a hybrid or fully-online format, the site states. Master of Business Administration degrees were included along with Master of Science in Finance degrees. Financial engineering, financial analytics, and any other finance-related Master’s degrees were considered. Each school, in order to be eligible for this ranking, had to be based in the United States and hold proper accreditation, the site added.

Once the list of schools was gathered, they were scored out of a possible 300 points and three factors were used to create the final score: freshman retention rate, graduation rate and affordability, the site states.

The MBA in International Banking and Finance offered by TAMIU is a powerhouse of an online masters program, the site states.

“It is unique, rigorous, affordable, and it’s very convenient,” the site states, “This program has a curriculum that not only enhances your foundational business competencies, but it also builds on them with additional education in finance.”

The site continues, “As comprehensive as this program is, it is astounding that you can complete your master’s in finance at TAMIU in just 15 months. There are six start dates throughout the year, and the courses are delivered in condensed seven-week formats.”

Dr. Steve Sears, A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business dean, said the School is honored to be recognized as #19 in the Top 30 Online Masters Programs in Finance in the nation.

“We are delighted and honored for this recognition by Online College Plan,” Dr. Sears said, “As the ranking has confirmed, we offer a top-quality program at an affordable price.
