TAMIU Presents ‘Women in Global Business’ Featuring Angela Williams Thursday

Angela Williams, director of Channel Sales for ARM, Inc., will be the keynote speaker during for the presentation “Women in Global Business” Thursday, Nov. 14, from 5:30 -7 p.m. in Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Academic Innovation Center, room 126.

The event, organized by TAMIU’s Office of Continuing Education, is free and open to the public.

In her role at ARM, Inc., a technology company, Williams manages a team throughout North America and Europe. She and her team are responsible for developing and enabling ARM solutions in startups to Tier 1 companies. Williams started with ARM 14 years ago, managing inside sales, distribution channel, world-wide inside sales to Channel.  She holds a bachelor of science in Agriculture from Oklahoma State University.

Michelle Begwin, TAMIU Continuing Education administrative associate, said Williams’ presentation is inspiring opportunity for women to realize their potential in the global market.

“Her presentation about her journey will be compelling and inspiring to all in the community,” she said.

Begwin added that thanks to Williams, ARM, Inc. has previously provided a gift of education equipment and software valued in excess of $256,000 to TAMIU’s School of Engineering and TAMIU’s Continuing Education program.
