Print and digital versions of the 50th Anniversary edition of Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) 2019 Annual Report are now available.

The 2019 Annual Report reflects the 50th Anniversary Theme,  “A World of Difference.”  It features the lasting legacy and impact TAMIU has had on Laredo, our state, the nation and beyond. The award-winning publication also provides a glimpse into the past year of student, faculty, alumni, staff and community accomplishments as well as the immeasurable kindness and generosity of University donors and partners.

TAMIU has augmented its print Annual Report edition with a digital publication since 2012.  The online version replicates the look and feel of the print version, complete with pages that “flip.” The online version  also hyperlinks to expanded content.

TAMIU president Dr. Pablo Arenaz said that the 2019 Annual Report offers readers a chance to look at the past year, while also revisiting the University’s remarkable history of transformation.

“This Report is of special importance to us as it not only highlights the University’s 2019 accomplishments, but offers a chance to share the remarkable story of how generations of University students, faculty, alumni, staff, community members and donors have personified and lived our 50th Anniversary ‘World of Difference’ theme,” Dr. Arenaz said, “We encourage everyone to read the Report to truly appreciate the University’s amazing history of transformation and metamorphosis, and the unwavering commitment, mission and vision of many to improve lives through higher education in Laredo and the region.”

The Report includes an infographic timeline of the University’s history, a look at student philanthropy and volunteerism, faculty awards, research and publications, and updates on the impactful lives of University graduates from its three distinct identities: the former Texas A&I University at Laredo, Laredo State University and Texas A&M International University.
